Notes: *hums the masquerade song from PotO* This is, uh... this is crack. I really don't know what to say about this one. It was fun to write, but damn, it screwed with my head. Since I posted this, I've noticed more Sayu/Misa popping up and I believe I have made the world a better place. :D

Notes: I'm still wondering how this came out of my brain. I think Matt's wonderful, but never considered writing him... until one night, one night when I just happened to need to get up early the next morning, he snuck into my head and decided to complain about being bored. So he got a fic. And a little poem at the end, in which I made up a word. I just left it in because there was nothing that could replace it, and you know, 'unsavable' should be a word. I'm proud of myself here - for once I didn't go imagery happy.

Notes: Some of my most original pieces are written out on the deck, such as this one and 'Capsized'. For a while this one was titled 'Honey and Saliva', after the Diru song, 'Mitsu to tsuba' (and when you flip the words around, you get 'tsumi to batsu', meaning 'crime and punishment'. Oh Kyo...). I was so worried the end would turn out cheesy, but I think it worked. It's weird, I never really had any interest in Near, but after writing this from his perspective, I think I like him more.

It was probably Jess G that told me about women wanting to be pregnant so bad their bodies start acting like they are...

Notes: I printed this out and edited it in English class. =P I actually had a lot of fun with this one; I did a lot of rewording and reordering, which is... enjoyable for me. ^^;; It was Mewling who turned me on to this formatting, which was fun except for all the changing I had to because I kept screwing up with my tenses; probably because the first draft was concieved at 2 am.

Notes: I can't remember exactly, but I have a feeling this was written very late at night on scraps of paper. I remember really wanting to add in the black silk detail too... I'm most proud of how Misa turned out; she's a lot of fun to write.

Notes: This was an idea that I'd had for a while. The ants were added in mostly because of this obsession I've had with writing about children and their relationships with animals/insects (often dead ones) for a while now. Children in general are a topic I'm fond of. The original of the title is quite obvious. I wish I could be more clever about them sometimes...

I guess it went in the right direction, because it ended up placing third for Best Characterization at the IY fanguild one quarter. :D It was largely inspired by Tegan and Sara's 'So Jealous' CD, and I still am not sure where the title came from, though I do adore it.

Crack yuri is a guilty pleasure of mine. The title was found by flipping through the dictionary, and I've since grown very fond of the word.

Notes: I have a rough copy of this sitting around somewhere. I scribbled out the first draft, doodled about it in Art Class, then finished and posted it. I'm actually quite proud of it (and look, more children with animals! Dead ones at that!) To be quite honest, it's a partial ripoff of a scene in 'The Little Friend' by Donna Tartt, in which Harriette tries to save a bird that has its wing caught in tar and ends up ripping the wing off. Best part of the book so far. Actually, the use of the word 'deliberate' in here was also learned from Tartt (in TSH). This fic spawned my characterization of Itachi in the upcoming Deity.

This is probably the fic where I got the most irritating reviews though...

Notes: Apologies to Claire, because this is what I was so distracted with writing the day we went to the art tour and then onto Jessie's. I ended up adding in lines from a drabble I'd done earlier at a family reunion (which is where the title ended up coming from), and then when 'Ice' by Sarah McLachlan came on, I added in the lyrics (which fit ridiculously well). Perhaps it's a partial ripoff of 'Paint' by Klayter McCabe, but I'm rather proud of it nonetheless.

Notes: The first chapter was written on a whim, giving birth to a string of ideas in my mind. The title was found with searching through the dictionary. I consider it one of my best works to date.

Summary: After finally killing Itachi and avenging his clan, Sasuke finds himself slipping from reality, unable to wash the blood off his hands, nor let go of his brother. It's all just a nightmare, only there's no one left to wake him up… ONESHOT
Notes: My first ItaSasu fic! Well, not the first posted, but first written. Inspired by how much the barn was flooded one winter while I was still working there. I did a rough copy in Notepad, then picked up a few months later and re-edited. I'm fond of this portrayal of Sasuke. Fun with insanity. The summary leaves a lot to be desired, doesn't it?
